It’s the 2nd Anniversary of Hilco Digital Assets!

Thursday was the 2nd Anniversary of Hilco Digital Assets. Having been an entrepreneur for years, and forming my own domain investment/advisory business in 1999, I was reluctant at first to go all in. As we now celebrate 2 amazing years, I am thankful that I joined forces with my partners, David Peress and Kirstin Wasden and the smart, entrepreneurial people of Hilco Global, to work together to build a leading investment & advisory brand in digital assets & domains. We have accomplished so much for our company and our partners, with so much more to do. We have: A) overseen some of the most important domain name transactions of all time, including several 8-figure and multiple upper 7-figure deals, helping so many companies & brands achieve the potential to reach the next level of enterprise value. These include Chat*com, Gold*com, Football*com, Rocket*com, Legal*com, Chocolate*com, and Fans*com. B) worked with our peers at IPV4 and Hilco Streambank to assist clients in acquisitions, sales, and challenging dispositions C) gained the loyalty and trust of so many partners from large corporations, venture investors, CEO/Founders, and entrepreneurs, who have engaged us to oversee their exact match, category domain name assets, which are all accessible at HilcoDigital.com/domains D) acquired valuable domain assets, including Excel*com, Frozen*com, Permission*com, Scientific*com, and in the coming days, a new domain that is one of the most valuable brands on the Internet E) own via a JV, the two category domain names that represent 2/3 of the global capital markets, VentureCapital*com & PrivateEquity*com F) made a bold, strategic $10M Series A investment in Atom*com, rapidly becoming the leading brand and domain name marketplace G)brought aboard Braden Pollock, one of the most reputable domain investors, as a partner and stakeholder H)built a strong team that keeps getting more so, with Daniel Koleshchuk Natasha White and Tiffany Mark. We are always exploring and researching new digital asset categories & investments, inside and outside of domain names, and expect to grow the business and the team in the next 2 years. Time has flown by, from the initial discussions with David, Kirstin, Gabe, and Jack, to my wife and son being the final push to align with and form HDA. Grateful! Cheers, HDA!
