NamesCon Keynote and Exciting Domain Deals

As promised, I am posting a link to my complete keynote from NamesCon, and Ron Jackson wrote a fabulous recap story.

It is always exciting to close a domain deal that is a win-win for the buyer and seller (the essence of a great deal). It is even more so when it’s done jointly with someone you like a ton and respect. That was this week’s sale/acquisition of Genrad.com, done with my friend Brooke Hernandez, who is super to work with. Overall it was a huge week for some of the fastest-growing companies strategically securing their exact match domains; Northern Pacific Airways upgrades to NP.com; Fetch Rewards to Fetch.com; and Cherry AB acquires Cherry.com. Savvy Founders & CEOs taking a must-have strategic step.
