The Reality of Succeeding in Domain Investing

This is RST 140, approaching 3 years of these posts and I must say, there are weeks it flows and weeks it is a grind, like anything else done well and with passion, but I appreciate the many comments, texts and growth to over 5,000 and often 10,000 weekly reads. Yesterday, I posted an impromptu video on the importance of patience and timing as it relates to domain names in general and in particular, the exact match, category defining domain assets that we at Hilco Digital Assets invest in and advise on. I had done one other random video, back in March ’23 when we sold Chat*com, and it went viral but for the most part, I stick to the written RST posts. December is a Strong Month for Domain Sales

Speaking of category defining domains, it was a strong week for us at HDA, as we sold a category defining domain (more on that soon) and a really good 3 letter via Atom.com. What was even more exciting was the sheer number of positive calls we had with end user decision makers, category leader CEO’s, on many of the most valuable domains we either own or oversee.
