A Grand Week for Hilco Digital Assets

It has been one week since so much happened simultaneously, with Hilco Digital Assets overseeing the sale of Chat.com and announcing a strategic investment in Squadhelp. Yet, there was more. This past week, we oversaw the buy/sell of Sweepstakes.com, yet another category-defining domain asset deal to go along with Chat, Legal, Football in the past few months for us.

And then, Dharmesh, the acquirer of Chat.com, made the decision to go public with the acquisition. The post is a very powerful statement on the strategic importance and asset value of premium domain names. I also had something that I spontaneously recorded on the process of negotiation with domain names, or really anything, viewed a lot. It was a great week for Hilco Digital Assets and a great week for domain names. And yet again, we are in the process of closing another deal, that I am hopeful I can post about shortly.

Exciting Times Ahead with Squadhelp

We had our first Squadhelp Board meeting this week and I am so excited about the roadmap, the plans for an ultra-premium domain marketplace, and the opportunity ahead.
