My Journey Through Premium Domain Investment

I have been investing in premium dot-com domain names since 1998. I have: flipped for profit; founded successful companies built on category domains (CreditCards.com & InsuranceQuotes.com); developed domains where it would have been better to sit on the domain investment rather than try to build a business around it; aimed too high and passed on some fabulous offers; hit some massive home runs; helped many leading companies and investors acquire and sell exact match, category domain assets. I have seen it all in this amazing asset class, and understand the power of the best domain names as brands, addresses, game-changing assets for those that have the business to leverage them, and investments for those that have the patience to wait for a return not available in most other asset classes. Anticipating NamesCon: Sharing Wisdom and Experiences

I can’t wait to share the stage at NamesCon on May 31st with Larry Fischer, where we will discuss “The Greatest Stories Never Told” and share some wisdom from our 50+ years of combined experience and two of our recent blockbuster domain name deals, Home.com and Chat.com. I will also be hosting a panel with Squadhelp Founder Darpan Munjal discussing how tech, AI, & ChatGPT will be influential to the future of domain name investing.
