Announcing the Random Thoughts Podcast

In 2016, I invested in a mobile app that developed proprietary live streaming technology, most notably the capability to bring the audience “on air” face to face with the hosts, all at the touch of a “Call” button on your mobile device., This was facilitated by a producer in a virtual green room. We tested over 200 shows in sports, some very successfully, and while it was a challenge getting scalability, the business has evolved and still exists. Today is now edition # 84 of Random Sunday Thoughts, which has surpassed all my expectations with its widespread readership, none which was my intent when I posted #1 over a year ago. To cut to the chase, this Thursday, November 9th, at 12 PM EST, a time that works for all US time zones and most overseas ones, I am bringing this to life via a live stream, fully interactive Podcast called of course, Random Thoughts. The idea came to me after my most recent keynote talk at Namescon. I am excited to test the waters and leverage some of the unique tech that I was excited about in 2016. Random Thoughts will be primarily focused on premium domain names and digital assets, with some venture, tech entrepreneurism, and daily fantasy (my other love) thrown in. Most importantly, we will allocate 30 minutes of the podcast for live, face-to-face “Call In” Q&A, an “ask me anything” on premium domain names. Each episode will feature a special guest CEO/Founder who is a case study in achieving massive success with a premium domain name asset. This Thursday, my co-host will be my good friend larry fischer, with whom I oversaw two of the most high-profile domain name transactions of all time, Home.com and Chat.com, and our special guest will be David Laz, who is on the leadership team at Fairway that acquired Home.com and has big plans forthcoming. On Tuesday, I will post the link to the show, which will air live on our Hilco Digital Assets YouTube and will also be available on demand and in audio Podcast form. Each day next week, I will also post the link you will need to call in to ask your questions from 12:30-1 pm EST Thursday.
