Another Exciting Week at Hilco Digital Assets

Happy Mardi Gras & Super Bowl Sunday! This was again an exciting week at Hilco Digital Assets. We oversaw the deal for another premium domain name, Networth․com, and are in negotiations on other domains so I would expect more news soon. As I wrote last week, despite the challenges of the economy, the value of digital real estate is so strong.

The Strategic Importance of Category Domains

I am seeing more category leaders understanding the strategic importance and value of their category, exact match domains. I like to say that it is the equivalent of starting a marathon at mile 8. It eliminates so much process, establishes authority and credibility at the highest level while being “heard once remembered forever”.

Adding Value Across All Facets of Business

I have been a 2x founder with successful exits and have worked with 100’s of management teams on the acquisition of their exact match category domains. Doing so will add value across all facets of your business that ultimately can be measured in 9 figures of enterprise value. It is important to understand that standalone, premium domains are amongst the strongest performing asset class from an ROI standpoint and are balance sheet assets that can be resold for cash returns.

The Importance of Graduating to .com
