The Ongoing Strength of the Premium Domain Market

Traveling early tomorrow so am posting on Saturday morning this week. So much importance to share so might as well be a day early. For the past few Sundays, I have written about the ongoing strength of the premium domain market, and the increasing recognition by the world’s leading companies and brands of the strategic, offensive, and defensive importance of their exact match, category dot-com domain assets. As a Founder/CEO with two exits, I have experienced how game-changing my category domains can be and as an advisor, have helped companies that have achieved billions of dollars of enterprise value and whose founding management teams have attested to how important their domain acquisition was in doing so. Hilco Digital Assets and I have overseen some mega deals over the past few weeks, and this week, there were two premium domain acquisitions that deservedly were so important that they made headlines.

Acquisition of Super․com by LiveSuper

Acquisition of AI․com by OpenAI
