A Thrilling Experience at NamesCon

I am recovering from an exciting, fun few days in Austin at the first IRL NamesCon since the pandemic. It was inspiring, productive, and beaming with optimism for the power of domain name assets. I gave the keynote address on Thursday and will post the video sometime this week. Based on the response, it went really well. I also had more meetings and deal talks than at any NamesCon that I can remember. Last but not least, great company, a fun Internet Commerce Association dinner, and some absolutely fabulous meals at Franklin BBQ and Red Ash.

Rediscovering Music with Friends

One of the highlights of Austin was old friends and two of the smartest domainers, Joe Uddeme and Mark Daniel, fellow Deadheads who share my passion for music, introducing me to the app “Relisten.” It has soundboard audio for thousands of archived live shows and has been perpetually in use since they showed it to me. I am addicted and enjoying reliving some of the greatest live shows I attended.
